Maritime Montering Delivers Turnkey Accommodation for Wilson ASA ECO I

Maritime Montering has successfully delivered the accommodation for Wilson ASA ECO I, the first vessel in a series of 14 CIP cargo ships launched by Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited. We are proud to support this groundbreaking project, having been entrusted with turnkey interior solutions for six vessels in the Wilson ECO series.

These revolutionary vessels represent a new standard in efficiency and sustainability, and we are proud to contribute to the comfort and quality of life onboard. We look forward to the upcoming launches in the series.

Maritime Montering Wins Tender for Four ASD Tugs from Hooghly Cochin Shipyard, India

Maritime Montering India has secured a significant new contract for the full turnkey delivery of accommodation and HVAC systems on four 29-meter bollard pull ASD tugs.

Each tug will be outfitted with high-standard living quarters for a 12-member crew. Maritime Montering will be responsible for the complete interior accommodation and HVAC systems, ensuring modern, functional, and comfortable living spaces at sea.

“After a tight competition in the tender process, we are truly proud to be selected by Hooghly Cochin Shipyard,” said Joseph J. Alappat, Head for Purchase and Sales at Maritime Montering India. “This win demonstrates the trust placed in us as a reliable partner. It also marks a new chapter in our collaboration, following earlier material supply and flooring installation projects for catamarans in Hooghly Cochin Shipyard.”

The contract will be executed through a joint effort between Maritime Montering’s teams in Romania and India. The Romania unit will ensure timely delivery of overseas material while the Indian team (Marinor) will carry out the design, indigenous material supply, installation and on-site commissioning for this “Make In India Project”

This project highlights Maritime Montering’s growing presence  and capacity to undertake “Make in India” projects  across all major and medium size shipyards in India.

Maritime Montering to deliver turnkey interior for new freezing trawler built for Hvanngarður

Maritime Montering is proud to announce a new contract with MEST Shipyard for the full interior outfitting and accommodation of a new freezing trawler being built for Hvanngarður p/f, a leading fishing company in the Faroe Islands. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in mid-2026.

With an overall length of 44.15 meters, a beam of 11.60 meters, and a freezing capacity of 40 tonnes per day, the new trawler will be equipped to support demanding operations in the North Atlantic.

As part of the contract, Maritime Montering will deliver a complete turnkey solution for all interior and accommodation spaces. The onboard accommodation to be designed with special attention to the comfort and well-being of the crew, in line with the highest standards of working and living conditions.

The trawler, designated NB 118, will be constructed in the Faroe Islands – known for their strong seafaring tradition and shipbuilding craftsmanship. Maritime Montering has a leading presence in outfitting newbuilds in the region.

Maritime Montering Global Summit 2025: One Vision, One Mission, One Team

Maritime Montering to Outfit Two of the World’s First Zero-Emission Feeder Container Vessels

Maritime Montering is proud to announce two significant contracts from Cochin Shipyard for the turnkey interior and accommodation solutions for Samskip’s next-generation, zero-emission short-sea container vessels.

This exciting collaboration will bring together the expertise of Maritime Montering’s teams in Romania and India to deliver world-class interior solutions for the vessel crews.

The vessels, designed by Naval Dynamics AS, are 132 meters long and powered by green hydrogen. As the world’s first zero-emission feeder container ships, they mark a major step forward in sustainable and efficient sea freight operations.

The accommodation project is set to commence immediately in  Q2 -2025 wherein , Maritime Montering India, in collaboration with Maritime Montering Romania, will commence outfitting of the vessels with the latest maritime accommodations solutions, ensuring efficiency, safety, and sustainability of the working environment for crew.

Uday Natu, CEO of Maritime Montering India, commented: ”The entrusted  2 vessels demonstrate the confidence our clients have in our  execution ability to deliver world-class accommodation solutions for their vessels  in India“.

Maritime Montering Secures 11th Accommodation Contract with Spanish Zamakona Yards

Maritime Montering has once again been selected by Zamakona Yards to provide turnkey accommodation solutions for the next  newbuild  wellboat NB808, currently under construction for the shipping company Intership AS. This contract marks the continuation of a successful collaboration between Maritime Montering and Zamakona Yards, following the successful delivery of 10 newbuilds and recently accommodation project for the Antarctic II completed last year.

Maritime Montering will be responsible for the full outfitting of the living and technical zones for the crew, including interior design, marine furniture production and installation, and all related technical outfitting works. This comprehensive approach ensures that the vessel’s accommodation meets the highest standards of functionality and comfort for 15 crew members.

Mr. Luis Magro, the CEO Zamakona commented: “We are pleased to continue our partnership with Maritime Montering. Their high-quality accommodation solutions and on-time delivery focus ensure that our vessels meet the highest standards for crew comfort and operational efficiency”.

The NB808 is a 4,000 m³ battery-hybrid wellboat designed by Norwegian firm Salt Ship Design. Built to meet the increasing demands for fish health, welfare, and environmental sustainability, the vessel aligns with industry efforts to reduce climate emissions and enhance operational efficiency.

With this contract, Maritime Montering strengthens its 20 years operations in the Spanish shipbuilding market. Over the years, the company has outfitted multiple vessels, providing accommodation solutions tailored to the needs of modern maritime operations.

We are proud to announce the successful delivery of Høgaberg’s interior project – a modern 88- meter  pelagic trawler designed by Karstensens Skibsværft A/S for Framherji.
