Maritime Montering is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team in Romania.

PROJECT MANAGER

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the maritime and shipyard industry
Location: Romania, with international travel depending on project locations

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, budgeting, coordination and execution of marine interior projects, ensuring that projects are delivered according to quality, cost and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant maritime/shipyard industry experience
Fluent English — reading, writing and speaking
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel
Knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera is an advantage
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
Flexible, resilient and able to adapt to changing project requirements
Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team
Solution-oriented approach and analytical thinking
Strong communication and coordination skills

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quotations based on customer specifications
Design and calculate required accommodation items
Prepare technical specifications for components
Request and evaluate component quotations
Prepare and maintain project documentation
Calculate and report project costs at completion
Monitor and report monthly project man-hours
Prepare and present monthly project reports to management
Analyse monthly and annual man-hour requirements across projects
Participate in pre-bid meetings, including occasional international travel
Conduct site visits to ensure project standards and schedules are met
Communicate with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are achieved
Manage project schedules, shipping, inventory and related accounting activities
