About the Role: As a Purchasing Coordinator, you’ll manage supplier relationships, provide customer advice, and support additional sales. You’ll also collaborate closely with our project and technical sales teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and projects. Meeting deadlines is essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

Handle purchasing for our various projects
Continuously assess our supplier portfolio to ensure a smooth flow of goods
Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines
Prepare specifications and inquiries
Analyze offers to select the right supplier
Manage your own portfolio of suppliers and customers
Oversee, coordinate, and sell material and furniture packages to our target market

Key Qualifications:

Background in the shipping or construction industry is an advantage
Strong ICT systems and tools experience
Ability to work independently while leveraging team expertise
Analytical, sales, and market-oriented mindset
Service-oriented with a hands-on approach
Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
Forklift license is a plus, or willingness to obtain one
