General Manager Türkiye

Maritime Montering Turkey that is operating in Yalova-Altınova and Tuzla-Istanbul shipyards in the field of ship accommodation (insulation, panels, flooring, furniture, interior design solutions), is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the company at a strategic level.

This role is about driving the corporation’s vision and growth, ensuring that milestone targets are met, and strengthening our position in the ship accommodation market. Reporting directly to the Group CEO/Chairman, the General Manager will play a key role in the development of the company within a matrix organization, influencing cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company from a strategic perspective, translating corporate goals into actionable priorities and ensuring alignment across all departments.
• Influence and guide departmental leaders (Project, HR, Finance, Sales, Procurement, etc.) to achieve milestone targets and operational excellence, without micromanaging day-to-day tasks.
• Represent the company externally, maintaining and enhancing market integrity, reputation, and key customer relationships.
• Identify and develop growth opportunities, new markets, and strategic partnerships in line with corporate objectives.
• Monitor company performance through KPIs, dashboards, and milestone reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability to the Group CEO/Chairman.
• Foster a strong leadership culture, inspiring teams to deliver results while maintaining high standards of ethics, quality, and safety.
• Play an active role in shaping the corporation’s long-term development, contributing to decision-making at the group level and coordinating across regions and subsidiaries.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in relevant area (i.e. Business Administration, Interior Architecture, Industrial, Mechanical, Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering).
• 10+ years of experience in the ship accommodation, interior outfitting, or shipyard industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading organizations, managing strategic priorities, and influencing multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Strong business acumen, with experience in P&L oversight, strategic planning, and corporate governance.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and build trust internally and externally.
• A results-oriented mindset with a focus on market impact, corporate reputation, and sustainable growth.
• Proficient in English
