General manager in Maritime Montering Romania

Maritime Interior Srl, a subsidiary of Maritime Montering Group in Norway, is seeking an
experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our Romanian team in Galati,
delivering exceptional interior design and construction services to the maritime industry, both
domestically in Romania and abroad.

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, including managing staff, developing, and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of success in managing teams and delivering outstanding results in the maritime industry. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, results-driven, and possesses excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
• Manage and lead a team of professionals in the delivery of interior design and
construction services to the maritime industry, both domestically in Romania and abroad.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
Monitor and report on the financial performance of the company, including
revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners both
domestically and internationally.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest
standards, meeting the expectations of clients in different markets.
• Identify opportunities for business development and lead efforts to secure new
clients and contracts in various markets.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in a leadership role in the maritime industry, preferably in interior design and construction
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional results and driving business growth in different markets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Romanian knowledge is beneficial but not a requirement.
